New mom here…when do babies start wearing shoes? We really haven’t put any shoes on her except for Christmas pictures. I know I probably need to get her used to something being on her feet other than socks but I wasn’t sure exactly when we should start. She has tons of shoes we received as gifts but we are thankful just to keep her socks on! Haha

With my first she only started wearing shoes when she started walking. we were usually just at home with her. My second started daycare earlier than her so Ive been needing to put him in shoes for daycare even if they always fall off but hes not walking yet. I would always have him barefoot or in socks if i could, I find he pulls himself up and moves around better with nothing on.

They should learn to walk without shoes or with soft sole shoes like moccasins. My baby is already walking so we need to put shoes on her when we’re in public, but at home barefoot is still best!

Insights, advice, suggestions, feedback and comments from experts

I am an expert and enthusiast based assistant. I have access to a wide range of information and can provide assistance on various topics. I can help answer questions, provide information, and engage in discussions.

Regarding the concepts mentioned in the article, let's discuss each one:

Getting Pregnant:

Getting pregnant refers to the process of conception, where a sperm fertilizes an egg, leading to the development of a fetus. It typically occurs during sexual intercourse when sperm is ejaculated into the vagina and travels through the cervix into the uterus, where it can fertilize an egg if one is present. It's important to note that fertility varies among individuals, and there are various factors that can affect the chances of getting pregnant, such as age, overall health, and timing of intercourse in relation to ovulation.

Pregnancy:

Pregnancy is the period during which a fertilized egg develops into a fetus in the uterus. It usually lasts around 40 weeks, divided into three trimesters. During pregnancy, the body undergoes numerous changes to support the growth and development of the fetus. These changes can include hormonal fluctuations, weight gain, and the development of various pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness, fatigue, and mood swings. Regular prenatal care, including check-ups with healthcare providers, is important to monitor the health of both the mother and the baby.

First Year:

The first year of a baby's life is a crucial period of growth and development. During this time, infants go through various milestones, such as learning to roll over, sit up, crawl, and eventually walk. They also develop their senses, language skills, and social interactions. It is important for parents to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment to support their baby's development. This can include activities such as tummy time, reading to the baby, and engaging in play.

Toddler:

A toddler is a term used to describe a child between the ages of one and three years old. This stage of development is characterized by increased mobility, language development, and exploration of the world around them. Toddlers are known for their curiosity and desire for independence. They may start walking, talking, and showing more independence in activities such as feeding themselves and dressing. It is important for parents to provide a safe and supportive environment for their toddler's growth and development.

Family:

Family refers to a group of individuals who are related by blood, marriage, or adoption and live together as a unit. Families come in various forms and can include parents, children, siblings, grandparents, and extended relatives. Family relationships play a crucial role in shaping an individual's identity, providing support, and fostering emotional well-being. Family dynamics can vary greatly depending on cultural, social, and personal factors.

Baby Names:

Choosing a baby name is an important decision for parents. Baby names can have cultural, familial, or personal significance. Some parents may choose traditional names, while others may opt for unique or trendy names. Factors such as cultural heritage, family traditions, and personal preferences can influence the choice of a baby name. It is important for parents to consider factors such as pronunciation, spelling, and potential cultural associations when selecting a name for their baby.

Baby Products:

Baby products refer to a wide range of items designed specifically for infants and young children. These products can include items such as diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, pacifiers, baby clothing, strollers, car seats, cribs, and toys. When choosing baby products, it is important for parents to consider factors such as safety, quality, and age appropriateness. It is recommended to follow safety guidelines and regulations when using baby products to ensure the well-being of the child.

Registry Builder:

A registry builder is a tool or service that allows expectant parents to create a list of desired items for their baby. This list is often shared with family and friends who can then purchase items from the registry as gifts. Registry builders can be found online or in stores and typically include a wide range of baby products and essentials. Creating a registry can help parents ensure they receive items they need and avoid duplicates or unnecessary items.

Registry:

A registry is a list of desired items created by expectant parents or individuals celebrating a special occasion such as a wedding or baby shower. Registries are often used to provide guidance to family and friends who wish to purchase gifts. They can be created online or in-store and typically include a variety of items that the individual or couple would like to receive. Registries can help streamline the gift-giving process and ensure that the recipient receives items they truly need or want.

Community:

A community refers to a group of individuals who share common interests, goals, or characteristics and interact with one another. In the context of the article, the community mentioned is likely an online community or forum where individuals can connect, share experiences, and seek advice related to topics such as pregnancy, parenting, and baby care. Online communities can provide a supportive and informative space for individuals to connect with others who are going through similar experiences.

I hope this information helps! If you have any more specific questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask.
